Northern Powergrid is on the lookout for community groups and good causes in County Durham who could win funding simply by signing up supporters to play in their community league hosted by The GenGame.

When you nominate a group to take part in the ACE project, either you will take the lead on recruitment of supporters for your team or you can nominate an alternative group member to take on the role.

Being your team’s ‘Energy ACE’ comes certain responsibilities. Think of it as being your team’s captain. It’s your job to recruit as many of your friends, family or neighbours as you can to sign up to play The GenGame and help grow your team’s prize fund. Each member who signs up to The GenGame and registers their plug earns £5 for your team. GenGame points mean cash for your team. Each 4000 points earns your team £1 so the more people earning points, the more your team can earn.

You’ll need to make sure you tell people about all the benefits of taking part in the ACE project and if you need any extra help, we’re here to support you every step of the way. If you want information, recruitment flyers or just some advice, get in touch and let us see if we can help.
